Find an agency

1
Start your adoption journey
The initial step in your adoption journey doesn’t need to be daunting. You can contact a local adoption agency for a friendly chat, or to ask any questions you have, and to find out if adoption is right for you.
2
Find the right agency
You can use our agency finder to search for Regional Adoption Agencies (RAAs) and Voluntary Adoption Agencies (VAAs) near you. The adoption process is broadly the same across agencies but you might find it helpful to speak to more than one, especially if you have specific questions.
3
Move forward together
Agencies are very used to talking to people who are in the early stages of considering adoption, so you won’t be asked to make any commitments. The team will just want to ask you a few questions so they understand your position, and then you can work out together if you want to move forward with the adoption process.
The important thing is just to take that first step.
